We are looking to newly establish a law firm specializing in case acquisition and referral services. Our mission is to connect individuals in need of legal representation with reputable law firms that possess the expertise and resources to handle their cases effectively. Position: In-House Co-Counsel
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Responsibilities:
As an In-House Co-Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in our company's mission to provide access to justice for individuals impacted by mass torts. Your responsibilities will include:
- Referral Management: Collaborate with our extensive network of law firms to effectively match clients with experienced attorneys who specialize in specific mass torts.
- Case Evaluation: Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments of potential mass tort cases to determine their viability and potential for success.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized case files, including client information, referral agreements, and relevant legal documents.
- Compliance and Ethics: Adhere to all relevant legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring strict compliance with state and federal regulations governing mass tort acquisitions and referrals.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex legal issues and make sound judgments.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in [state].
- Experience in marketing, business development, or client acquisition in the legal industry is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
