Job Description
Village Caregiving is looking for compassionate, experienced, dedicated, in-home caregiver to assist clients on a part-time basis! We have an immediate need for experienced caregivers in and around Port Byron, IL! Among other clientele, we primarily serve our nation’s veterans, assisting them with their basic ADL’s. Help us help them age in place! We offer flexible schedules for all of our caregivers!


Responsibilities:


  • Monitor and report changes in patient health status
  • Teach family members ways to care for patient
  • Provide routine individualized care to the elderly, convalescents, or persons with disabilities
  • Provide personal care, such as bathing and dressing patients


Qualifications:


  • Familiar with use of Hoyer Lifts
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Positive and patient demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in hospice, home health, or other related fields
  • Ability to handle physical workload
