Job Description

Infrastructure Engineer

Onsite: Downers Grove, IL 60515

Type: Contract-to-HIRE

Pay: $32.50 - $39.98

Summary

Our client is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer for a Contract-to-Hire opportunity in Downers Grove. The selected candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and management of the core enterprise infrastructure.


Essential Duties

  • Maintain and support storage systems.
  • Maintain and support CISCO routers and switches.
  • Maintain and Support M365
  • Equipment Procurement and Setup
  • Additional responsibilities or tasks as needed to support company IT Infrastructure
  • Maintain and support Phone Systems
  • Maintain and support Windows Servers 2012/2016/2019 (includes Active Directory, DNS, ADFS, DHCP, Print Servers, Terminal Servers, and Web Servers)
  • Maintain documentation and procedures.
  • Maintain and support backup and recovery systems.
  • Maintain and support Hyper-V/VMware virtual environment.
  • Maintain and support network connectivity at all company locations.
  • Maintain and support computers (includes patching and imaging)
  • Provide off-hour and on-call support as needed.
  • Travel – When required.
  • Provide Help Desk / End User Support
  • Monitor network connectivity and systems (including after-hours)
  • All aspects of WAN, LAN, Voice, and Virtualization technologies
  • Manage Vendors, ISPs, and voice service providers.


Position Requirements & Competencies

MSCE / MCSA Preferred

College degree and 4 years’ experience
