Information Technology Infrastructure Manager

Position: IT Infrastructure Manager

Location: Milwaukee, WI 53224 - Hybrid 2 days a week

I am looking for an IT Infrastructure Manager to lead and provide direction to a team of 4 within an enterprise. In this role you will:

• Partner with leaders of other disciplines to ensure proposed solutions align with overall technology strategy.
• Work with the MSP’s and provide some 3rd level support.
• Plan and oversee the technical development that is being worked on by the external vendor-led teams and work with the internal business units to collaborate, strategize and deliver technical solutions that meet the goals and objectives of the company.
• Be responsible for architecture, support maintenance and security.
• Be accountable for the high availability and the performance of the Network and systems Operations own the incidents and support.
• Work effectively and collaboratively with other IT Managers on strategic initiatives to support the growth of the organization.
• Deliver outstanding, reliable uptime and quality support with controlled and planned change management.
• Assist in budget preparation, budget monitoring and meeting budget targets.
• Lead and manage the work activities of direct reports.
• Manage relationships with vendors/consultants, IT teams and internal stakeholders.
• Provide outstanding customer service and is an escalation path for end users.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Have comprehensive knowledge of IT best practices and processes
• Possess strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or equivalent job experience.
• Experience with Cisco network hardware
• Experience with VMWare and Windows Server OS
• 10+ years’ experience of managing Network and Systems operations.
