Job Description
Infection Preventionist Registered Nurse (RN)
The infection preventionist Nurse is responsible for the facility infection prevention and control program (IPCP), which is designed to provide a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment and to help prevent the development and transmission of communicable diseases and infections. The responsibilities encompass compliance with Joint Commission (JC) standards, CMS, OSHA and state regulations.
Requirements
  • Strong documentation, good communication skills, well organized.
  • A least five years of Clinical experience in a hospital of SNF.
  • Current RN license in the state of practice.
  • BSN preferred
  • Certification in Infection Control (CIC) is preferred
