Industrial Painter Jobs

PK Industrial is growing and currently seeking candidates with conventional or airless sprayer painting experience, a great attitude, and solid work history.

Work is at our Augusta Kansas location in an Industrial Shop setting.*

Pay range is $18/hr. - $22/hr depending on experience, and averages 40 – 50 hours a week.*

What you will do…*
Some of the* Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:*

• Performs all types of industrial painting work and surface preparation.
• Paint work and Fireproofing on various structures, equipment, and piping using brush, spray gun or other applicators.
• Abrasive Media Blasting, Fireproofing/Industrial Coatings Application, Scaffolding erection, and Insulation.
• Prepares various surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, sandblasting or other means as necessary.
• Mixes, and blends various paints, enamels, epoxies, urethanes, and special protective coatings for specified consistency, and drying properties.
• Erects and uses ladders, scaffolding, and swinging stage equipment as required.

Requirements:*

• Ability to work well with others & independently.
• Must be able to pass required background check / drug testing.
• Extended hours and shift work may be required from time to time.
• Must be able to read, understand and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate and timely manner.
• Proven time management skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to physically handle the work. bending, lifting...
