Job Description

A very reputable and rapidly growing consumer products manufacturing organization seeks to hire an Industrial/Continuous Improvement Engineer at their flagship campus in Northwest Ohio due to their continued expansion. Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, this position will be responsible for designing and improving complex manufacturing processes. This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement improved workflows and systems to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Control and optimize production processes and systems.
  • Seek out opportunities for continuous improvement and implement solutions to reduce cost, waste, and downtime.
  • Analyze and improve equipment/plant layout and process/material flow through time studies, SPC, etc.
  • Participate in capital project engineering functions.


Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of engineering experience within manufacturing environment(s).
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline required.
  • Significant exposure to CAD, Statistical Process Control (SPC), etc.
  • Proven ability to drive Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
