Industrial Engineer Jobs

• Establish and maintain process cycle times and labor routings for different departments.

• Assist with leading LEAN activity kaizen projects and Gemba walks

• Maintain and update plant master layout as new equipment is added or production lines moved

• Review and analyze existing production lines for best use of operators using standard work, operator-in-motion, etc.

• Resolve in depth manufacturing throughput issues such as bottleneck process identification, time studies, process flow improvements.

• Prepare plans, schedules and budgets for manufacturing engineering tasks.

• Lead and/or assist with manufacturing excellence programs such as 5S, LEAN and other factory assessments

• Create and maintain updated work instructions, process flow charts and procedures.

• Assist in the creation and execution of factory cost savings projects

• Recommend and implement process changes to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

• Develop and maintain accurate project timelines for new and existing programs.

• Could potentially need to supervise a co-op

Experience: This position requires 3 years minimum experience, 5+ years is preferred.
Education: Bachelor's degree in related field required
