Industrial Engineer Jobs

NOV Rig Technologies is recruiting for an Industrial Engineer to join our FM 529 team in Houston, Texas. Join us as we continue to power the industry that powers the world!

Responsibilities:

• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
• Assist in developing and updating process, work center and facility related documentation.
• Execute hands on problem solving of issues with product manufacturing and supply.
• Map and analyze processes and identify ways to reduce waste, improve workflow, and otherwise increase efficiency.
• Manage diverse improvement projects across multiple manufacturing work centers.
• Work closely with Procurement teams to improve raw material and finished products performance metrics.
• Facilitate and drive improvement projects for facility.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
• Oversee transitions, upgrades, and shifts in job structure, including defining and tracking performance metrics.
• Responsible for maintaining and updating master routers for FM 529 product lines to include, but not limited to, Power & Controls, Motors & Generators, Drawworks, Mud pumps, Overhead, Manifolds, and HPU.

• Position is onsite located at 11919 FM 529 Road, Houston TX 77041.
• 3-5 years improving assembly processes and other plant operations preferred.
• Working knowledge of Lean thinking and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience (10 years preferred).
