Job Description
This is a remote position.


We are seeking an experienced Independent Sourcer/Screener to join our team.


This is a remote role. Candidates may sit in any time zone!


Please note: This is a 1099 role (not W2). Commission Only; no buffer! (no exceptions) Please do not apply if you are not comfortable working in this type of setting!!


Candidates selected for the final round must complete an assessment!


Job Summary:


This role is responsible for building and maintaining a robust pipeline of diverse talent for specialized critical/difficult to fill positions and identified positions with a workforce shortage across various industries using normal and advanced sourcing techniques. The sourcer/screener owns and manages initial contact with the candidate and determines if the company should forward the candidate profile to the account manager or hiring manager. This is a non client-facing role. The majority of time will be spent sourcing and screening candidates. Will assume additional duties as needed.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Proactively identifies candidates through direct and indirect sourcing techniques, including complex internet searches (Boolean searches), cold calling, social/professional networking, career events, diversity resources and competitor research to build a strong network of passive and active candidates
  • May serve as a recruiter for one or more client groups with difficult to fill jobs
  • Create new innovative strategies to engage with and deliver top talent to each role through a variety of tools, techniques, and methods; Continually evaluates sourcing strategies. Stays abreast of current and emerging technologies to proactively identify new venues for identifying diverse qualified talent
  • Request for referrals from candidate and external networks
  • Review job description and/or listen to the intake call to understand the requirements of assigned or selected roles
  • Collaborates with recruitment manager and serves as a coach in developing recruitment marketing plans or implementing sourcing best practices; may develop and draft sourcing SOPs; continuous process improvement
  • Performs initial evaluation to ensure candidates meet both job and organizational requirements


Requirements


Education:


  • AS degree (required) in HR or related field
  • BS degree (preferred) in HR or related field


Required:


  • Ability to present our company and open roles to potential candidates effectively
  • Experience working in a commission only role
  • Strong negotiation and sales skills
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Firm understanding of guarantee periods and placement fees
  • Active LinkedIn Recruiter subscription or the ability to obtain subscription upon hire (not company-sponsored)
  • Outstanding time-management skills
  • Hands-on experience with sourcing strategies
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven 2-4 years of work experience as a Talent Sourcer or a similar role in the Human Resource Department (Agency or independent, not corporate); will consider sales experience.
  • Quick decision-making abilities

The anticipated pay range for this position is $70,000 to $140,000 (1 placement a month). This range may be modified in the future and actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level. Employees may be eligible to participate in company employee benefit programs such as health insurance, savings plan, pension plan, disability plan, vacation pay, sick time, holiday pay, and work, personal, and family time off in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
