We are looking for Inbound Sales Development Specialists to provide our customers with a great first impression of our company. These sales role answers inbound customer calls and creates quotes and orders based on the customer’s needs. Demco is a leading supplier to libraries and schools, and our Sales Development Specialists have a passion for supporting educators and librarians. They build personal relationships by asking good questions and resolving the customer’s issues.

What You’ll Do Every Day
- Help increase top-line revenue and provide value to our customers by leveraging promotions, cross-selling, and upselling while also building awareness of new product launches and Demco’s proprietary solutions
- Listen intently to ensure we provide solutions that meet customer expectations, budget, and time needs
- Ask good questions and learn about the customer’s needs
- Assist customers to place orders or get quotes
- Exhibit an outgoing personality and a customer-centric mindset while building rapport with customers
- Qualify opportunities and deliver them to the Inside Sales or Consultative Sales teams
- Quick typing speed
- Strong PC knowledge, including experience using Microsoft Outlook and Word
- Previous experience with cross-selling or upselling is preferred
- Two-year degree in a business- or communications-related field or one year of experience working in a sales environment
- Competitive qualities, including being driven, self-motivated, and goal-oriented
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with internal partners, customers, and prospects
