Job Description


The position is responsible for coordination of all international shipments (air, ocean, etc.) for Carnival Cruise Line. It coordinates and processes shipments and custom documents for import & export to CCL Fleet.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Ensure all Custom forms (7512) are arrived and exported in a timely manner as per CBP procedure. Maintain import file per Carnival procedure and customs regulations.
  • Coordinate and prepare the necessary documentation and custom forms for the efficient and lawful execution of all import/export activities.
  • Coordinate international hazmat orders for review and documentation.
  • Perform other job-related functions as assigned by Sr Logistic Manager.
  • Liaise with other departments and warehouse to establish and maintain effective and relevant export/import activities.
  • Verify and issue delivery orders to airlines, ocean carriers and custom brokers for international shipments. Communicate and arrange with the carriers for pickup of goods.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High School Diploma required/Associates and/or bachelor’s degree preferred in Business or Logistics.

Experience: 2+ years of experience in CBP transactions including bond issuance and closure.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Robust Excel, AMS, Editrade or other Custom’s platform.
  • KSAs

The range for this role’s base hourly rate is $18.00 - $22.00. Offers to select candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.
