Job Description

Our client, a private equity firm focused on decarbonization investments, is looking for an Impact and Sustainability Associate with a focus on GRESB and infrastructure. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to use your technical skills, engage with over 25 portfolio companies at the forefront of the decarbonization movement, and grow with a rapidly expanding firm. This role will sit in Boston or Houston (remote not optional) as a hybrid position, and the company will provide relocation assistance if needed.


Requirements:

-A background in ESG or sustainability consulting

-Experience with GRESB infrastructure projects

-Decarbonization experience

-Preferred experience as an in-house consultant

-Exposure to GRESB and infrastructure funds

-Understanding of SASB and LEED in addition to GRESB and ESG

-Experience assessing ESG readiness for clients approaching IPO and provided strategic recommendations to advance public disclosure

-Program development to improve reputation, ESG ratings and access to ESG capital.

-Build marginal abatement cost curve models for clients that calculate the net cost per ton of carbon abatement potential across decarbonization levers


Qualifications:

-Must have worked on at least 1 GRESB infrastructure submission or GRESB assessment cycle

-Bachelor's degree

-Experience with SASB, CDP, GRESB, TCFD, and GHG Protocol frameworks into ESG reporting
