How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

• Participate in design review meetings to ensure testing specifications and results
• Install software on test lab equipment & troubleshoot any issues
• Where possible add test automation
• IFEC System Test Plans/Procedures & results from actual testing.
• Perform system tests & report results
• Support and maintain System Integration Lab(s) (SIL) that represents the aircraft system(s)
• Define IFEC E2E system level and subsystem level test cases
• Develop IFEC E2E system test plans, procedures
• Analyze system requirements and architecture docs to create test procedures/plans
• Test engineer creates test procedures and performs test under the guidance of the test manager. Test engineer supports customer user acceptance testing. All tests & procedures are reviewed. Test engineer expected to ask for support as needed.
• Participate in on-wing testing
• Coordinate with other Delta departments that provide support for the products tested
• In support of the Test Manager:
• Support Customer Experience, IT, and TechOps teams with IFEC system launches

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

• Understand basic networking for LAB connectivity needs
• Embraces a diverse set of people, thinking and styles.
• Bachelors degree or 3+ years relative experience in system test, IVV, or QA testing
• Work alone performing test procedures, developing test plans.
• Should be able to lift approx. 50lbs of lab equipment as necessary
• Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority.
• 3+ years of experience as part of a test, IVV, or QA team responsible for testing
• Enter test procedures/plans/results in Microsoft Office products(Excel/Word) or qTest
• Demonstrates that privacy is a priority when handling personal data.
• 2+ years of experience with connectivity and in-flight entertainment (IFE)
• Mostly office work or inside a computer lab environment.
• Work well with customers when supporting user acceptance testing
• Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.
• Some travel to different test locations (Domestic & International)
