Interactive Entertainment Group (IEG) is responsible for the R&D, operation, and development of the company's interactive entertainment business including games and eSports. Through online gaming, live broadcasts, and offline eSports, IEG assists the company in leading the global interactive entertainment market to create better interactive entertainment content experiences for users.
Tencent New York team actively invites talented MS or PhD students for internship. We have openings throughout the year, not just limited to the Summer and Fall. Interns will be encouraged to pursue research and to publish their results, and we are meanwhile keen on applicants who have an interest in projects that have the potential for commercialization via Tencent’s products.

• Analyze and conduct graphics related research, including but not limited to the areas of realistic rendering, animation, simulation, geometric modeling, and video/audio processing.
• Provide summaries, analyses, and proposed solutions to issues presented in research papers.

• Solid analysis and problem-solving skills
• Strong programming skills for engineering complex systems
• Experience on computer graphics, vision, signal processing, and/or machine learning
• Ability to understand and implement research papers
