Icu Nurse Director Critical Care

A Southern California Area Medical Center is actively seeking a Nurse Director Critical Care Service Lines to join their administrative team!
The ICU Nurse Director will report to the Chief Nursing Officer, and will be responsible for a 20 bed Intensive Care Unit, with 100 FTE’s.
The Nurse Director of Intensive Care Unit ICU will be responsible for leading and directing all care and services provided with the Critical Care departments to ensure optimal patient care.
The Nurse Director of Critical Care unit will see patients in vast ranges of acuity scales, from those who have had minor to sever incidents, to those recovering from cardiovascular surgery, stroke and extreme traumatic events.
The Nurse Director Critical Care will assume fiscal responsibility for the unit budgets serves as a liaison with medical staff and other personnel, promotes the maximum growth and development of each employee, supports nursing research and assures patient advocacy. The Critical Care Nurse Director will work with Managers of Critical Care, Trauma, Medical Surgical and Emergency maintaining a premium level of patient care as they move throughout the hospital.
This 250 bed Medical Center is part of a large and stable non-profit medical center which has been a central part of the community. The Medical Center is extremely busy, as are the Ambulatory Clinics, the healthcare organization has over 20 clinics throughout the region.
