Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Director of Critical Care Services will lead clinical and administrative operations in a busy 80-bed department. Supported by two outstanding CCRN Certified Nursing Managers, three Nurse Supervisors, and an amazing team of Critical Care Staff RNs. The Director of Critical Care Services will oversee a fast-paced unit with state-of-the-art equipment and a supportive medical and support staff.
The Director of Critical Care Services will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, supporting the staff's ability to meet patient needs. This will include developing and supporting educational initiatives, serving as a mentor to new leaders, and being a champion for quality improvement throughout the department. The Director of Critical Care Services will also take on administrative duties in the department, including scheduling, staffing, recruitment and retention of staff.
