Position: IATF Lead Auditor

We are working closely with one of the largest Global Certification Bodies for an IATF Lead Auditor to join their successful and ambitious team of individuals!

The companies ISO/IATF 16949 auditors certify quality management systems for all manufacturers in the automotive supply chain worldwide – for cars, their parts, components, or systems. Their auditors are generally based on a home office allowing them to work independently as they travel to client sites while receiving a full complement of administrative support from their central office in Katy, TX

This position may be performed from any the companies with a Hybrid work environment in AZ, OH, PA, TX, IL, MI, SC, NC, and Washington D.C.

What You'll Do for the CB

• Will be assigned as a key customer project manager- coordinating audit projects
• Maintain appropriate audit credentials and pursue advancement of those credentials and other related credentials as needed
• Document and report audit activities and results
• Provide timely and accurate reviews of client corrective action and closure
• Interact directly with clients at all levels of management in developing timely, complete, and accurate report of their current level of compliance or implementation of their management system
• Perform 3rd party ISO/IATF 16949 audits for North America and International clients
• Maintain schedule of audit activity with clients

Position Qualifications

What is Required for a position with the CB

• Must be able to travel up to 100% of the time, including mostly overnight stays throughout the U.S.; often involving travel outside of normal working hours and on weekends
• Able to walk and stand for up to 4 hours at a time and manoeuvre throughout multiple levels of client sites either by stairs or elevator
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and can rent and drive a car and travel on public conveyances when required.
• 3+ years as a 3rd party IATF Lead Auditor
• Able to lift and carry up to 10 lbs. in addition to transporting one’s own luggage for multiple-day travel and push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, and kneel with that which is lifted, carried, or transported.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• We conduct a pre-employment background check
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Drug screen (US candidates only)
• Current IATF Lead Auditor certification for ISO/IATF16949 and possess a 5-ADP#

What is Preferred

• Experience with different industry types, able to be qualified for multiple NACE codes
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
