Home Comfort Experts, Inc is looking for an HVAC Apprentice in Ft Wayne to join our team!

Starting Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 hourly during training, $16.00 - $18.00 per hour after training has been completed.

Our Technician Training Class starts on July 10th.

As an HVAC Apprentice, you will work as part of a dynamic and passionate team of professionals to demonstrate technical competency and ensure desired sales metrics. You will diagnose and repair HVAC issues and lead customers to informed and confident buying decisions.

Responsibilities

• Educate and assist customers in choosing the best finance options and maintenance plans.
• Be accurate and timely with invoices, time cards, and option sheets
• Complete HVAC repairs, maintenance, installations, and other related in-home, service calls for both commercial and residential customers. Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systems.
• Understand your sales criteria and hold yourself accountable for exceeding revenue goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried truck.
• Know how to establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services.
• Work alongside customer service representatives and dispatch team members to ensure the overall success of the business.
• Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs and installations.
• Participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings, and retreats.
• Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business.
