Hvac Product Tester Technician 1St Or 2Nd Shift

Carry out testing on full range of commercial HVAC products well as any new technical products introduced into the plant. Panel wire, loom, line wire, evacuate unit, charge unit, perform all sheet metal sub assemblies, and braze. Create wire numbering schemes and loom diagrams as needed. Proof all wiring diagrams and orders prior to start of build. Document the testing of all units and maintains records as defined by work instructions. Instruct and train employees in all areas of commercial HVAC product manufacture. Maintains clean, safe and orderly work area. Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Ability to maintain quality standards.
Knowledge of tools and processes. A number of diverse problems may arise at infrequent intervals and incumbent must know proper approach after careful analysis.
Minimum of 4 years high school or 2 years trades training to understand job requirements. Electrical and mechanical knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment. Able to read wiring, piping and plumbing diagrams and identifying components. Capable of reading blue prints.Ability to work from diagrams and prints.
Ability to follow instructions, and to instruct other employees .
Ability to work overtime when it is deemed necessary.
