If you are interested in all aspects of HR and have experience as a generalist coupled with the ambition to develop into an HR business partner, we want to hear from you. At Intouch you will be part of a growing HR function within a dynamic, entrepreneurial organization with employees in the US and Canada.
At Intouch, you will use your professionalism, proactive communication style and approachable attitude to support our managers and bring the very best out of our employees as we drive towards ambitious growth goals.
You will be involved at all stages of the employee lifecycle and manage many of our HR processes, including on-boarding, employee timekeeping, benefits administration, policy management, HR systems administration, the delivery and management of compliance training, and interactions with relevant stakeholders.
In addition, as an ambassador for our cultural standards and values, you will provide hands-on support to a group of business unit managers as they support their own teams and reports and deliver results for Intouch.
Specific duties will include:
- Defining, developing, and maintaining concise documentation for HR procedures, work processes and reports
- Maintaining a working knowledge of HR trends and best practices to improve workplace efficiency and the employee experience.
- Maintaining timekeeping system for hourly-paid employees (Quickbooks Time)
- Ensuring company and employee compliance with relevant State and Federal laws
- Assessing training needs and organizing training, coaching, mentoring sessions for staff as necessary on a variety of topics
- Compiling and maintaining employee records by entering employee change information (new hires, changes, terminations, promotions etc.) while liaising with relevant stakeholders and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality
- Other duties as necessary
- Participating in exit processes, by liaising with managers, Finance and IT as appropriate, conducting exit interviews, participating in termination processes and preparing documentation.
- Full cycle of talent acquisition – hiring, on-boarding, orientations etc
- Assisting in the coordination of departmental or company-wide HR projects and initiatives to support performance optimization and growth
- Acting as the main point of contact for HR information and assistance
- Managing employee benefits programs
- Participating in and assisting with employee events (remote or at various locations in US/Canada – occasional travel <5%).
The experience, skills and attitudes that show you are prepared for this opportunity:
- Working knowledge of an HRIS (we use BambooHR and Thread)
- Customer service mindset and the desire to create a positive, collaborative, and productive employee experience.
- Strong project-management and execution skills
- A demonstrated commitment to personal development
- HR designation is preferred (eg SHRM, HRCI, HR diploma, HR degree)
- Minimum of 3 years of generalist HR experience
- Experience managing and answering employee questions related to a variety of HR issues
- Familiarity with multi-state labor law and workplace compliance
- Highly adaptable, proactive, and empathetic individual who enjoys working in a fast-moving, ever-changing, highly collaborative and goal-driven environment.

- Effective verbal and written communication skills
