Provide for and promote an atmosphere that ensures Human Resources is approachable and promotes positive engagement and relations. Maintain a high profile with employees throughout the organization with a focus on being a good listener and a strong advocate for ensuring the timely resolution to employee concerns and issues. Your job description in more detail: Serve as the primary contact to managers and employees on human resource related matters, supported by the HR Director and Payroll & Benefits Administrator. Ensure that all employee data is maintained and communicated in a professional and confidential manner. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the employee handbook, all company policies and procedures, and all employee benefits, so as to support directors, managers and cell leaders in the consistent understanding, communication and application of these elements to all employees in the organization. Manage general recruiting, interviewing, screening, hiring, on-boarding and training of employees and contracted labor. Maintain all personnel records, files, and data in a professional and consistent manner. Participate in the development and application of Company compensation and employee review structures, ensuring their fair and consistent application across all departments and levels of employment. Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, investigations and terminations. Assist with Human Resource communications and company events like annual meetings, company picnics, Christmas parties, etc. Assist in developing job designs and descriptions. Assist in developing and implementing training to promote and enhance employee education and skills. Assist in developing, communicating and monitoring organizational culture and employee satisfaction. Cross train as back up in payroll processing. Assist with outside information requests such as SQF audit requests and customer audits, governmental audits and reports, verification of employment requests, etc. Assist in managing contracted labor. Assist in Engagement/Recognition/Team building. Search and apply for grants to benefit employees, training and education programs and other operational and organizational goals.
