Position Overview
Under the guidance of the Employment Compliance Director, the HR Business Partner is primarily responsible for providing human resource direction, expertise, and support services to management and team members of assigned divisions and/or geographic areas.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Interfaces with Support Center HR staff to provide employee answers on policy, procedures, or status of benefits, relocation, pay, and/or employment status
  • Supports operational excellence by providing sound expert advice, applying influence, and providing support services in the areas of Workforce planning, staffing, retention, Employee Relations, Legal Compliance/Unemployment claim assistance, and Human Resources training
  • Visit company-owned restaurants across several southeastern states.
  • Provides input and recommends strategic direction for Human Resources
  • Oversees and administers the open communication process.
  • Initiates and ensures execution of tactical HR solutions.
  • Determines when investigations regarding fair treatment should be conducted and direct or conducts investigations.
  • Publishes data and analysis of field HR functions making appropriate recommendations.
  • Partners and engages with the Legal Department in recommending company actions based on outcomes of investigations.

Education And Experience
  • ADP WFN Experience, a plus
  • PHR/CP, SPHR/SCP, Preferred
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field OR 5 - 7 years of related experience required.
  • 5-7 years experience in Human Resources (Business Partner) in a geographically disbursed restaurant Industry Experience a plus
  • 5+ years of Employee Relations experience required.
