As a Human Resources Assistant you would be responsible for assisting the Director in the overall management and administration of the Human Resources function to deliver an excellent guest experience and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards
- Recording HR meetings (i-e investigation, safety and MAD minutes”
- Assist on compliance with Affirmative Action Plan and Equal Employment Opportunity guidelines and regulations
- Assist in the function of the data management system (TMX/HRIS) to include, but not limited to, entry of team member data, recording employment transitions (i.e. hire, separation, leaves of absence, etc.), tracking training, tracking coaching and corrective action, generating reports, overseeing team member relations spreadsheets and processing unemployment claims
- Advise and assist employees with understanding human resource policies and procedure
- Perform additional duties as requested by Director/Manager
- Assist with the management of team member relations programs, activities and initiatives to include, but not limited to, picnics, holiday functions, health fairs, award banquets and special events.
- Assists in the management of daily Human Resources operation to include, but not limited to, interviewing and hiring, employment and recruiting, training and development, help onboarding and off boarding entering wage/benefit compensation, relaying team member and labor relations, learning about contract compliance, tracking disciplinary procedures, filing workers compensation paperwork, assisting in safety and statutory compliance, assisting in recognition and reward activities.
