With over 40 years of history, Epting Events stands as a testament to the Southeast's rich tapestry of celebration. As a family-owned business, we pride ourselves on both the events we craft and the team behind them. While our legacy is steeped in tradition, our eyes are firmly set on the future. As we seek to modernize and evolve, we're opening the doors for an HR Coordinator — someone ready to build upon our solid foundation and usher in an era of renewed excellence in human resources.

HR Coordinator: Bridging Past and Future

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Guided Compliance: Oversee our HR policies, ensuring a balance between our established company values and necessary legal benchmarks.
  • Policy Framework: Address, update, and refine company policies. There's work to be done on our employee handbook and job descriptions, and we're looking to you for clarity and modernization.
  • Recruitment Essentials: Streamline and strengthen our recruiting processes, ensuring we attract talent that aligns with our evolving brand.
  • Benefits Management: Take the helm on our employee benefits programs, from health insurance to workers' compensation.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Enhance our employee transition processes, emphasizing compliance, efficiency, and a warm welcome.
  • Groundwork & Leadership: Understand where we stand today, provide direction, and set the stage for HR's future role in our growth.
  • Operational Accountability: Manage timekeeping and payroll with an emphasis on accuracy, leveraging tools like ADP for streamlined operations.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or a combination of experience and education that speaks to your capability.
  • Strong communication skills, both for internal alignment and external liaisons.
  • Ability to mentor teams, recognizing areas for improvement and potential growth.
  • Experience with ADP payroll systems is a plus.
  • Clear, effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience across HR's breadth, from benefits to employee relations.
  • A clear understanding of HR regulations.
