A Unit Secretary is responsible for performing clerical and receptions duties, managing visitor access, facilitating communication, and contributing to a smooth functioning, cost efficient, well-equipped unit.

Required qualification:

• Must successfully pass the medical terminology examination.

Preferred qualification:

• 1 year Recent experience as a Unit Secretary or in a similar position.
• Preferred upon hire: Certified Health Unit Clerk certification

Providence has been serving the Pacific Northwest since 1856 when Mother Joseph and four other Sisters of Providence arrived in Vancouver, Washington Territory.
