- Participate in daily morning calls / meetings.
- Conduct training sessions on HSE compliance process and systems;
- Demonstrate commitment to the Company HSE policies through participation.
- Advise the OIM on all health and safety issues / subjects and assist in developing and implementing improvement measures.
- Responsible to plan, coordinate and execute the scheduled audits as per the approved asset HSE audit plan;
- Evaluate all observations cards and ensure learnings are shared to mitigate potential hazards.
- Conduct periodical inspections and audits to ensure compliance to Energean standards and local policies and regulations.
- Responsible for offshore reporting of unusual occurrences as defined by the MoE / MoEP guidelines to the Head of HSE or designate and preparing subsequent detailed follow up reports as required.
- Conducts internal HSE audits offshore and where required onshore to accurately measure the degree of user compliance, and the effectiveness of the key controls that are embedded in each procedure.
- Maintain familiarity with all Energean HSE procedures and policies and communicate same within the Offshore personnel.
- Control and Maintain the Register of Risk Assessments and Major Hazards for FPSO Operations and related offshore support activities.
- Assist the FPSO OIM in managing incident response, investigation, notifications and reporting in accordance with Energean’s procedure.
- Responsible to monitor and analyses trends to identify HSE and Compliance areas to be audited and improvements so that HSE performance targets are met.
- Support Energean and its contractors to correct any deficiencies identified from near miss reports, audits, hazard reviews and incidents and implement any trends identified.
- Contribute to maintaining the FPSO Report on Major Hazards (ROMH) requirements.
- Responsible to monitor timely submission of corrective action plan and closeout of audit findings;
- Monitor FPSO compliance to Energean HSE Management Systems and provide regular feedback to FPSO OIM and Onshore HSE Lead.
- Assist in planning and executing emergency drills.
- Provide support to line management on investigations of incidents and determination of accurate root causes.
- Assist in the development and roll out of Energean Israel’s HSE Management System so that it is fit for purpose and available in accordance with the asset Operations Readiness Plan.
- Ongoing review of facility and arrangements to ensure compliance with Asset Regulatory Compliance Plan
- Responsible to capture and communicate lessons learned from the audits findings and investigations etc;
- Work closely with Energean POWER FPSO OIM.
- Provide clear communication to and open discussion with the onshore HSE Lead and FPSO OIM on HSE concerns, trends and initiatives and incident investigations.
- Responsible for managing internal HSE and Compliance audits Offshore and where required Onshore as per the approved asset HSE audit plan;
- Ensures lessons learned from audits findings, investigations, etc. are communicated internally to key stakeholders;
- Experience with HSE & Audit procedures development and review.
- Previous professional experience of 3 years in similar field HSE and compliance positions within an ongoing operational environment.
- Incident Investigation training.
- Previous experience with HSE MS and Environmental MS.
- Israeli certified HSE officer (advantage)
- Knowledge of EU Offshore Safety Directive combined with International experience (advantage).
- International Certificate/ Diploma in Occupational Safety, Health, Environmental or equivalent (advantage).
- Trustworthy and approachable
- IT literate with proficiency in word processing, report writing and delivering presentations
- Fluent in English and Hebrew (both writing and speaking)
- Systematic and analytical approach to management of change and associated procedures
- Strong communication skills with supervisors, peers, reporters and more
