Job Description
Sun Solar is seeking a full-time HR Manager/Recruiter in the Springfield, MO community. As a part of our HR team, the Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for leading the staffing and talent acquisition efforts to grow and expand our amazing team.


Responsibilities


  • Maintain related HR paperwork such as garnishments, Workers Compensation and FMLA.
  • Recruit, screen, and interview job candidates.
  • Updates and maintains all job descriptions and job ads.
  • Be the point of contact for HR related issues or discrepancies.
  • Oversee the implementation of the employee handbook and any other company related policies.
  • Review and recommend standard operating procedures (SOP) that need to be created or revised.
  • Maintaining all aspects of the hiring process from job advertising, reviewing applications/resumes and coordinating/conducting interviews and job offers.
  • Attend and run open interview days and hiring events.
  • Ensure that all federal and state employment laws are followed.
  • Manage the company benefits and 401k program.
  • Organize, update, and audit employee files.
  • Some travel will be required as additional markets outside of Springfield have hiring needs.
  • Train managers on interviewing process and best interviewing practices.
  • Stay up to date with all local hiring events and hiring programs.
  • Keep employee information and documentation up to date in the HRIS system.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local community hiring sources.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Experience/Skills


  • Strong interpersonal skills necessary to build strong and productive personal relationships and work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to HR.
  • Ability to effectively advocate ideas and influence internal and external audiences.
  • Experience managing multiple recruiting assignments within an Applicant Tracking System.
  • Required - Bachelor's Degree in related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
  • Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record required.
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Required - 1-3 years of related experience
  • Effective interviewing practices and techniques.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and use MS Office applications to produce correspondence, reports, electronic communication, spreadsheets, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and judgment sufficient to handle sensitive employment issues.
