Job Description
Summary:


Responsible for performing HR-related duties and working closely with the Associate Director of Human Resources and team. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, policy implementation, recruiting and employment law compliance.


Essential Duties:


  • Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefit laws and regulations.
  • Provides administrative support to the HR department.
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Recommends new approaches, HR policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.
  • Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
  • Support employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation
  • Recruits for the companies open positions
  • Maintains employee directory.
  • Perform outreach to community sources as needed.
  • Facilitate our current HR programs and perks while constantly thinking of ways to improve them and researching additional programs/perks we can introduce to help enhance the employee experience.
  • Performs benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, claims resolution and terminations.
  • Compiles and prepares data for statistical reporting.
  • Assists with administration of various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.
  • Helps to establish and maintain department records and reports.


Knowledge, skills and abilities:


  • Ability to communicate with all levels
  • Strong Attention to Detail
  • Exceptional written and oral presentation skills
  • Experience with HR Information Systems, preferably Paycom.
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • The individual must have “hands on” experience in an enterprise growth environment. Specific qualifications desired include:
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • High level of confidentiality


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • SHRM and HRCI certifications are preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience in a Human Resources function.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Bachelors or Associates degree in Human Resources, Industrial and/or Personnel Relations, Business Management or related field.
