i.g. Burton Auto Group is looking to add a qualified, experienced HR Generalist to our busy auto group.

Job Duties

• Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings
• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and talent management
• Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
• Participates in development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and ongoing reports for company requirements
• Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications
• Assists with payroll processing
• Implements new hire orientation and conducts employee onboarding

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail with a dedication to accuracy
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Proven experience as an HR Generalist
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Desire to work as a team with results driven approach
• Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
• Aptitude in problem-solving
