Join the Shared Service HR team!
The University of Michigan Shared Services Center (U-M SSC) is a customer service organization focused on providing user-friendly and cost-effective administrative services to the university community. The SSC offers key financial and human resource transaction services to customers. You will spend 90% of the time answering inquiries via phone.
SSC is currently looking to fill the following role for the upcoming peak season. It could be up to a 6-month duration.

HR Customer Care Assoc.

• You will use data entry software.
• Develop subject matter expertise in areas of Benefits for Open Enrollment.
• Answer or triaging inquiries relating to medical, dental, vision, legal, life insurance, long-term disability, benefits billing and deductions inquiries by phone and email.
• Communicate via both email and phone to collect additional information and provide updates on ticket status.
• Handle a high volume of tickets using a case management tool to open, document, process, and resolve tickets
• Work in a collaborative environment, with business partners, customers, and colleagues.
• Access records in multiple systems to resolve inquiries.

Work Locations

You will work remotely up to 95% and you should live within a reasonable commuting distance from Ann Arbor.

Additional Information

Position pays $16.25
