Job Description
The HR/Personnel Department of Delaware County is currently seeking an experienced COMPENSATION ANALYST to join its team!
The Compensation Analyst will assist with the implementation of a standardized compensation structure. Once established, the Compensation Analyst will regularly research job requirements and evaluate job positions against the structure as well as market data.
Essential Duties:
- Prepare and maintain job descriptions for each position in the organization, ensuring descriptions accurately reflect the work being performed by incumbents.
- Interview and survey employees and managers to gather and document job, organizational, and occupational information including duties, responsibilities, and skills required by each job.
- Assess job duties and requirements to determine FLSA classification and appropriate salary range.
- Benchmark jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges.
- Prepare and maintain job classifications and salary scales.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field
3-5 years compensation experience.
Extensive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
Extensive knowledge of human resource laws, regulations and best practices.
Work in in a collective bargaining environment preferred.
Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Pay starting at: $51,000
Must live in the County of Delaware or be willing to move within 6 months of hire.
