- Partners with Learning & Development team on identifying training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.

- Expanded knowledge of State and Federal employment laws and Human Resource policies and procedures.

- Experience developing and augmenting policies and procedures for both hourly workers as well as professionals
- Proficient written and verbal English language communication skills, including business writing and professional telephone manner
- Must be a natural troubleshooter and demonstrate proactivity when issues arise.
- Proven knowledge of standard business practices and procedures, including advanced HR practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interface with all levels of the organization.
- Problem-solving ability and proven accuracy with detailed information
- 5+ years’ experience managing high-performance management team
- Able to function well autonomously and as a team member
- Consistently maintains a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, and possess excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Working knowledge of standard business practices and procedures, including basic HR practices.
- Tech savvy, comfortable communicating virtually and learning new office tools, and keeping abreast of advances in technology and social media relating to HR tools.
- PHR, SPHR, or other HR certification, required
- Effective interpersonal skills
- DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background & TB Clearance.
- In-depth knowledge of State and Federal employment laws and Human Resource policies and procedures
- HR Professional Certification preferred
- Results-driven and solution-focused problem solver.
- BS/BA required in Business, HR, or other similar. Plus, minimum 10+ years of progressive experience leading a team of HR professionals.
- Familiarity with HCM software/ HRIS (e.g. SAP, ADP, UKG, Kronos) and MS Office
- This person must be comfortable dealing with highly sensitive and confidential matters
- This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
