Summary: Responsible for providing guests with amenities or special needs items by delivering the items to the room. Provide Guest Room Attendants (GRA's) the materials/items needed to perform their daily tasks. Also assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel.

Essential Functions:

• Vacuum hallways, place signs to warn guests, clean vacuum bags and replace drive belts
• Clean public areas in the hotel to include cleaning ashtrays, trash cans, elevator tracks as well as wiping down walls, doors, windows, pictures and mirrors
• Empty GRA carts three to four times daily and at end of shift
• Supply cleaning products and equipment to GRA’s as needed
• Pick up and deliver irons, ironing boards, towels, pillows, blankets, and various toiletries
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Responsible for inventory, stocking and cleaning assigned locker rooms
• Ensure guest and employee safety by placing Wet Floor/Caution signs to warn of possible slip hazards
• Empty trash, unload soiled linen, sweep and mop hard floors and stairwells
• Pick up and deliver guest’s laundry, rollaway beds, cribs, refrigerators, coffee pots and microwave ovens

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs and pushing, pulling or moving objects weighing up to 70 lbs
• One to three months related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Able to read, write, comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English
• Ability to use tools or equipment which requires a high degree of dexterity
• Hearing, Vision, Speech and Literacy (Critical)
• Standing, walking or stooping (over 75% of the time)

• Able to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide
• Ability to work for sustained periods of time maintaining concentrated attention to detail
• Bi-Lingual preferred Physical Requirements
• Ability to interact with guests in a professional and courteous manner
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
