Job Description

The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for developing and executing housekeeping operation for the hotel and conference ground where we exceed our guest experience at the conference grounds. Executes out housekeeping department duties at locations in accordance with facility standards of cleanliness and appearance.

COMPENSATION: The salary for this position ranges from $60,000.00 to $70,000.00, depending on circumstances including an applicant?s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.


Job Responsibilities

? Ensures compliance with appropriate infection prevention, safety, OSHA, Joint Commission and regulatory standards.
? Determine the needs of the clients' operation and ensures that the appropriate Aramark resources are engaged.
? Mentor employees by creating a shared understanding about what needs to be achieved and how it is to be achieved.
? Ensures business practices align with Collective Bargaining Agreement
? Reward and recognize employees.
? Ensure safety and sanitation standards in operation are compliant with Aramark and client's regulations.
? Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and standards that promote a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
? Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, including hiring and training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
? Manage, organize, and maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment, and ensure that supplies are ordered and received in a timely manner.
? Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas regularly to ensure cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards are met.
? Respond to and resolve guest complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
? Work collaboratively with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
? Prepare and manage departmental budgets, and monitor expenses to ensure that they remain within budgetary guidelines.
? Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all stakeholders, including guests, staff, management, and vendors

Qualifications

? Requires 1-3 years of related experience and 0-2 years? experience in a management role.
? Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
? Requires experience in a union environment.
