Part time Night Shift

Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center a member of Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an Housekeeping Aide to join our team . Our vision is to provide state-of-the-art healthcare to those within our local communities, creating a positive impact for each individual that walks through our doors.
The Housekeeping Aide responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe health care environment by daily cleaning and supplying of patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, bathrooms, offices, departments and other assigned areas.

Work Hours/Shift:

• Part-time 20 hrs. – Nights, must be available every other weekend and holiday.

You Will Be Responsible For:

• Active Teamwork: Performs other special assignments.
• Technical Familiarity: Executes proper cleaning procedures and demonstrates efficient, cost effective and safe use of housekeeping equipment
• Exceptional Patient Care: Contributes to overall quality of care by performing required cleaning functions in assigned area

Requirements:

• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Education: High School diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred; or one to three months’ related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks
