Job Description
Stanmar, Inc. seeks full-time, temporary Housekeepers who will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all rooms, suites, and indoor common areas at Stanmar, Inc.’s properties, which includes vacuuming floors, dusting, laundering and replenishing linens and towels, disinfecting bathrooms, and washing windows.


Three (3) months of experience at a hotel, resort, or private club required. On-the-job training is provided.


Schedule 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening and weekend hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Sunday through Saturday. Typical shifts are 600am-200pm, 1100am-700pm, and/or 300pm-1100pm, and may vary.


Employer-provided housing, health insurance, and dental insurance may be offered and are optional. If offered and accepted, costs will be deducted from paycheck. Cost per week is up to $175.00 for housing, additional amounts for health and dental insurance. If employee accepts housing, a one-time security deposit of up to $150.00 may be required, which employee will pay directly to employer.


All deductions from paycheck required by law will be made.


If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will pay directly for and/or reimburse workers for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The employer will pay directly for and/or reimburse workers for all reasonable inbound transportation and subsistence costs within the first workweek. The employer will pay directly for and/or reimburse workers for all reasonable outbound transportation and subsistence costs during the last workweek. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursemen 10539 The responsibilities include but are not limited to taking food and beverage orders, retrieve and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages and to serve food to the guest according to the resorts food and beverage specifications, courteously and efficiently. Assist with the maintenance and cleaning of the restaurant area and equipment and providing the highest levels of service and professionalism. Performing all duties and adhering to the Food & Beverage Service Standards.


  • Resolve guest complaints and concerns to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Constantly increasing knowledge of food, beverages, and other products and services
  • Responsible and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas and proper food handling
  • Maintain complete knowledge of all food & beverage menu items, including liquor brands, beers, nonalcoholic selections available
  • Be familiar with all the resorts services/features and local attractions in order to assist the guest
  • Maintain complete knowledge of and STRICKLY abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated guests and drunk driving
  • Maintains professional relationships with all co-workers
  • Serves alcoholic beverages in an appropriate manner consistent with company standards
  • Maintains complete knowledge of and comply with all department policies/service procedures and standards
  • Prepares work area for either, opening, mid-shift, or closing in accordance with company standards.
  • Take guest food & beverage orders utilizing suggestive up selling techniques
  • Follows checklists and standard operating procedures.
  • Identifies food orders when ready and delivers items to tables in a timely manner
  • Complete side work during non-busy hours
  • Performs related tasks and functions as requested by manager
  • Remove soiled wares from tables and transport to designated area
  • Communicates with food and beverage staff to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Greets all guests with enthusiasm and friendliness and maintain positive guest relations at all times
  • Attempt to limit problems and liability related to customers' excessive drinking by taking steps such as persuading customers to stop drinking, or ordering taxis or other transportation for intoxicated patrons
  • Maintains a professional appearance at all times
  • Thorough knowledge of Food & Beverage outlet operations including foods, beverages, service techniques, and guest interaction.
  • Answers guest questions about food, beverages, and our facilities accurately and in a friendly manner
  • Develops relationships with guests
  • Present guests check and process payments. Adhere to cash handling and credit policies/procedures. Balance cash receipts
  • Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Hotel & Resort from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position
  • Anticipate the guests needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests; resolve guests’ complaints and ensure guest satisfaction
  • Provides the highest level of service in accordance with our standards
  • Clean and reset table as soon as guest departs
  • Answer outlet phone using correct greeting and telephone etiquette


In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of additional supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the manager based upon the particular requirements of the hotel


  • Must be a service minded individual with a positive attitude who truly enjoys helping others
  • Minimum of three (3) months of experience at a high-end resort, hotel, or private club required.
  • Must be able to work a schedule that will include holidays, weekends, and varied shift times
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in diverse team environment
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Successful applicant will pass pre-employment background check.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, lift and bend for long periods of time.
