Callaway Resort and Gardens is seeking a friendly and professional Hostess to join our team at the Country Kitchen. The Hostess will be responsible for greeting and seating guests in the restaurant and providing them with excellent service to encourage return visits. This role may require long hours and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to guests to ensure a positive dining experience
• Answer guest inquiries about the menu and restaurant services
• Welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant and seat them at their tables
• Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth restaurant operations
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant's hostess area
• Participate in training programs to continuously improve guest service skills and knowledge
• Maintain accurate knowledge of restaurant layout, menu, and specials

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism during busy and high-pressure situations
• Must be at least 16 years of age or older
• Customer-service oriented attitude and a welcoming demeanor
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
