Job Description
Summary
ASM, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for the Host and Busser Positions for ASM-Premier Food Services, Inc. for the 2023 Del Mar Summer Live Meet Horse Racing season. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills and an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Escort customers to tables and provide them with menus and information about daily specials
  • Perform other restaurant duties as assigned.
  • Greet customers upon arrival
  • Manage phone services — take reservations and takeout orders as well as answering customer questions about the restaurant and services
  • Work in a fast paced, high-energy environment.
  • Process payments made with cash or by card
  • Maintain exterior and interior of restaurant (sweeping, organizing menus, etc.)
  • Assist servers with clean-up and table preparation during rush hours
  • Monitor servers and the tables they are responsible for
  • Itemize receipt of purchases
  • Seat customers and/or provide them with an estimated waiting time

This position’s compensation is $15.80, not including tips.
