Job Description
Job Title: Host, In-Park & Social (Part-Time)
Department: Game Presentation
Job Summary: The Baltimore Orioles seek a charismatic correspondentto serve as the Oriole Park at Camden Yards in-game host and main personality on Orioles social and digital platforms. The Host, In-Park & Social will connect Orioles fans of all ages with the club by delivering first-class interactive entertainment and in-depth insight on the organization and its players. This position will propel team storylines on and off the field through video content series on Orioles channels, both on digital and broadcast.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-camera interviews with fans, staff, players, and/or alumni across both digital platforms and broadcast
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Work most Baltimore Orioles home games and select community appearances as needed
  • Represent the Baltimore Orioles on social channels via stand-up reporting on various community and marketing events
  • Assist Game Presentation staff in selecting contestants and executing crowd promotions, sponsorship activations, and inning break entertainment
  • Positively interact with the best fans in baseball, inside Oriole Park at Camden Yards and beyond
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Extensive knowledge and passion for baseball and Orioles players, past and present
  • Great teammate who is a self-starter, highly-motivated, and carries themselves professionally at all times
  • Previous hosting, emcee, broadcasting, or other relevant experience is required. Candidates should submit a video reel along with their application
  • Superior communication skills (both written and oral) that translate to engaging large audiences
  • Outgoing and creative on-camera personality that can work under pressure and adapt to quick changes
  • Familiarity with sports scripting and comfortability in improvising and creating indelible moments for fans
  • Must be available for most Orioles home games, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
