Home Health Scheduler Responsibilities:
  • Enters skills for each clinician in staff management area of scheduling package and enters assignment of and updates for case manager for each patient
  • Works all report as indicated in standard work
  • Adds and approves all disciplines as instructed by the Supervisor, including the visit type
  • Assists with daily routine paperwork and clerical duties necessary for the smooth day to day function of the unit
  • Enters and verifies vital patient information into billing system
  • Assists in entering approved PTO and patient Emergency Management Plans into scheduling package
  • The Team Assistant is responsible for scheduling and oversight for all disciplines: Skilled Nursing, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Social Work
  • Maintains CPR card, Driver's license and Auto Insurance information in team member files
  • Assists the Home Care Supervisor in productivity oversight
  • Reviews admission packets for completeness

Qualifications:

Education:
  • Required: High School or Equivalent
  • Preferred: Associate's (Computer Related)
Experience:
  • Preferred: 6 months (Healthcare)
  • Required: 1 year (Computer Related)
Skills:
  • Computer skills appropriate to position
  • Medical terminology use and understanding
  • Organizational and multi-tasking skills
