Here is what we are looking for our new Scheduler / Coordinator (Director of Client Care Services) to have:

  • Serve as point of contact for clients, caregivers, and case managers.
  • Understand and adhere to established Assisting Hands policies and procedures.
  • Deliver superior customer service to clients and field staff to ensure quality care is provided.
  • Match appropriate caregivers to cases based on suitability, personality, availability, and skill set.
  • Ensure all cases are covered and arrange for substitute/back-up coverage as necessary.
  • Provide information about services to prospective clients.
  • Responsible for verifying authorization of services with payors.
  • Assist in recruiting, screening, and hiring of caregivers.
  • Regularly communicates with caregivers regarding attendance, compliance, and continuing education.
  • Work closely with Owner to ensure that hours and pay rates are correct for payroll and billing rates are appropriate for invoicing.
  • Manage caseload while proactively growing it through initiatives set by management.
  • Handle/resolve caregiver issues, problems, and scheduling changes.
  • Build lasting relationships with clients, referral sources, payers, and community organizations.
  • Responsible for creation of new clients and initial intake of clients’ information into digital file.
  • Communicate daily with Owner on casework and caregiver performance and issues.
  • Participate in patient care meetings, in-service programs, and orientation.
