Full-Time

Day Shift: approximate shift times of 6 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Wages - Entry level wages starting at $25.00/hr. Overtime available and extensive medical and retirement benefits.

Higher pay for skilled operators of heavy equipment with mining and quarry experience.

• Operators with 5 or more years of mining or relevant heavy equipment experience starting at $30.00/hr.

Rogers Group is seeking candidates for an experienced HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR position for our Burns and Hickman Co. Quarries located in Burns, TN and Bon Aqua, TN.

The successful candidate for this role will have experience operating various pieces of heavy equipment – dozer, track hoe, loader, haul truck, and skid steer, and others. This individual will also be required to work on the ground and in the plant. They must have a strong commitment to safety excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a dedication to safe work practices.

• At least two years of proficient experience operating heavy equipment preferred.

• Experience operating various pieces of heavy equipment – dozer, track hoe, loader, haul truck, skid steer, and others.

• Preference to experience operating a front-end loader for production in a quarry or similar type of setting.

• Willing and able to work on the ground and in the plant as needed.

• Able and willing to assist with fixed plant maintenance.

• Able to operate heavy equipment with precision and excellence in a variety of terrains and conditions.

• Performing various production duties.

• Complete required daily inspections, light maintenance, greasing, and fueling of heavy equipment.

• May be called upon at the discretion of management to perform any other duties assigned and/or assist other areas as necessary.

• Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as may be needed.

• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
