Heavy Equipment Operator Jobs

Chiquita Canyon Landfill, a Waste Connections company, has an immediate position available for a Heavy Equipment Operator at our operation in Castaic, CA!

The schedule will be Monday-Friday 3:20am-1:30pm, with a rotating Saturday schedule.

Starting pay will be $25-30/hour, depending on experience. The pay range for this job category is $25-33/hour.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Responsible for equipment inspection
• Pushing up piles of yard debris, rubble
• Proficient in operating all yellow iron on site.
• Operating Dozer, Compactor, Excavator, ADT, Loaders, Backhoes
• Assisting customers and employees as needed

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
• 2+ years of heavy dozer operating experience
• Ability to be self directed as well as work in a team environment
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
