Job Description

Title: Healthcare Accounts Installation Specialist


Terms of Employment

  • This position is 100% remote. With that said, there is a six-to-seven-week training period broken down as follows:
  • Weeks 4-5: Remote
  • Candidates must reside in a commutable distance to Owings Mills, MD.
  • Candidates must be comfortable with a work schedule of 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday.
  • Weeks 6-7: In-Person in Owings Mills, MD
  • This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week.
  • Weeks 1–3: In-Person in Owings Mills, MD
  • Contract, 6 Months (Possible Extension)


Overview

Our client is seeking an Account Installation Specialist to install assigned accounts into core platforms and complimentary systems. Core functions include the following:

  • 40%: Research errors by comparing account management documentation against multiple internal systems.
  • Standards.
  • Structure and billing set up to align with documented account requirements, coordination of structure
  • Reconcile reports and group set up discrepancies, as well as analyzing transactional data and retroactive
  • 50%: Perform installation of assigned accounts, including, but not limited to: development of the account
  • Revisions, researching and resolving setup and structure issues, database management, and management
  • Of related administrative documents. Audit contract loads for adherence to quality measures and reporting
  • 10%: Update internal databases to maintain tracking information. Monitor daily report for inventory control.
  • Eligibility changes.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with internal teams on a routine basis and external vendors as needed.
  • Excellent data entry skills.
  • Able to handle shifting priorities and a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • 1+ year of experience in the healthcare, medical, or health insurance industry.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Outlooks, Teams, Word, Excel).
  • High School Diploma and 1+ year of experience working in an office-based administrative/data entry position that requires heavy computer usage.
