- Experience working with patient health information
- Skilled in managing multiple technologies and quick to learn new technical skills
- Six months of experience interpreting medical cannabis program guidelines for program eligibility
- Bachelor's degree preferred OR at least two years of professional experience in a closely related position acceptable
- Effective organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and experience working with virtual platforms
- Working knowledge of the Illinois Medical Cannabis Patient Program
- Demonstrates a high level of professionalism, including maintaining productivity standards and patient confidentiality
- Maintains and updates electronic registry file; follows up with applicants to request missing or incorrect documentation
- Works with confidential patient health information
- Responds to daily inquiries regarding program policies
- Provides data management by entering patient information, ensuring completeness and accuracy of entries
- Performs review of Medical Cannabis applications and renewals received under the guidelines of the Medical Cannabis program; follows up registry application results through written communications with physicians, patients, and caregivers
