Health Information Management Data Specialist – Home Care – Days

Conduct Ongoing Medical Record Review and Quality Assurance monitors. Enters, verifies and corrects data entered to various hospital computer systems. Provide Secretarial support to the Health Information Management Department and its Manager. No supervisory responsibility. Regular contacts with professional staff demands, including, but not limited to ability to communicate via the telephone and in person, compose correspondence and operate PC.

This is a full time day shift opportunity from 8:30am – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday. Hybrid option is available. This position is located at Scarsdale, NY and support Lawrence Homecare Of Westchester, a certified home health agency.

Preferred Criteria

• Medical Terminology

Required Criteria

• High School diploma or GED
• Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills, orientation to accuracy and detail, and ability to relate to relate to a variety of professional staff essential
• Minimum of two to three years relevant working in doctor’s office, Hospital or in a homecare
• Knowledge of medical terminology

$27.07-$30.25/Hourly
