Momnt is a fast-growing startup fintech company headquartered in Atlanta, GA with team members remote throughout the country. We are looking for a Head of Project Management Office to build out and manage our growing PMO team, and scale our strategy and processes.
In this position you will help mature and implement Enterprise PMO strategy, processes, procedures, and best practices in alignment with corporate strategy, goals and culture.
Location: This is a position based in Atlanta, Ga. This is a hybrid role, requiring 1-2 days in the office at the Sandy Springs location.
Relocation is not available at this time.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S./Sponsorships are not available. Corp to Corp not available.
As a Head of PMO you will:
  • Partner with cross functional leadership and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for PMO impact
  • Provide direction and day-to-day operations to the PMO. Scope may include technical and/or non-technical projects of varying scope and complexity
  • Manage and prioritize projects based on business needs and identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and drive continuous improvement
  • Build and define metrics/KPIs for PMO team members
  • This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and can be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities that management deems necessary.
  • Train, mentor, and hold accountable all key players in Organization to improve their project management skills and managing the organizational processes
  • Supervise project and program managers to ensure all projects within the scope of the PMO are delivered within standards and processes established
  • Build and lead a team of program and project managers responsible for the organization’s portfolio of projects
  • Provides enterprise wide project visibility at appropriate levels for various stakeholders throughout the organization
You’d be a good fit if:
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to build rapport and influence with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Knowledge and understanding of software development life cycles and agile methodologies
  • Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and initiatives in a fast-paced culture
  • Ability to meet deadlines, work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated skill in managing project scope, budget and timelines
  • Experience establishing and building out PMO at high growth company
Nice to have:
  • Previous startup experience
  • Previous experience within a Fintech organization a plus
  • CAPM or PMP certification
