THE ROLE
As Head of Product Operations, this executive will lead our partnerships across an extended partner team, driving growth across the bank through the support of multiple products and capabilities and their related ecosystems. This leader will be accountable within the leadership team for an agile operating model enabling both agility at scale and innovation, with a focus on accountability by product. Additionally, they will drive continuous improvement and help evolve agile ways of working within the leadership team, enabling with the right capacity and tools to drive anticipated outcomes efficiently.

Product Operations is the intersection of product management, engineering and operations focused on delivering value for our customers in an efficient manner based on Agile values and Product mindset.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure measurable results available within discovery and delivery to validate progress against defined key results and allow for quick failure/pivot when necessary.
  • Support evolution of portfolio management practices across value streams and teams in line with program maturity. Ensure successful work intake forums are in place and the portfolio is clear/transparent
  • Partner with Chief Product Officers and Product leadership team to ensure prioritization of highest value requests aligned with Objectives and key results, making it to discovery and ultimately delivery across dependent capabilities and products.
  • Influence resourcing strategies to help optimize product performance.
  • Support OKR creation and follow-through by enabling the right forums to create, update and communicate OKR information
  • Create a healthy engagement model with agile delivery members within the program.
  • Engage with other product delivery leads across the organization to share and apply learnings to make the enterprise more productive, predictable, and accountable.
  • Work with Program/Product Leads, agile delivery leads and teams to continuously shape agile operating models within the leadership team and program.
  • Enable Delivery Teams to enact an aspirational plan while compelling accountability for delivery across the Program.
  • Lead, develop and mentor a team of individuals, with a focus on accountability and a culture of direct, timely feedback
Qualifications
  • Successful change management strategies and use of cross-functional partnerships
  • Critical thinker with the ability to support and explain the application of the right Agile delivery methods within the product teams to drive predictability and efficiency
  • Strong listening / communication / interpersonal / influencing skills
  • Removes ambiguity in situations and drives towards decisions and shared understanding
  • People management - leadership through influencing and coaching
  • Broad business and technical acumen that enables the establishment of effective working relationships with multiple levels across all facets of the program
  • 10+ years of experience in driving large scale change efforts
  • Strong servant leader
  • Measurable success driving strategic improvements at scale
  • Desire for continuous learning / willingness to fail
  • Proactive approach and ability to develop trusted advisor relationships
  • Deep knowledge of Agile values and principles; Product model delivery at scale
  • Demonstrated ability to work and lead across multiple teams, constituencies, and frameworks

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $175,440.00 - $206,400.00 - $227,040.00
