The Following Challenges Await You: Leads, develops, innovates, and optimizes manufacturing capabilities and capacities in alignment with the organizational goals, strategies, and priorities. Manages site operations activities, resources as measured by EHS, Financial, Delivery and Quality metrics. Develops and leads a team capable of managing all aspects of the operation environment, achieving safety, production, cost, and quality goals while meeting customer requirements. Contributes to strategic planning and decision-making at the management level to develop and implement production systems and processes. Participates as a member of the Site Leadership Team (SLT). Observes and controls Operation budgets; monitors the cost and effectiveness of operation activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending, achieve delivery, quality, and financial targets. Ensures that the manufacturing activities meet established targets and operational excellence standards. Your Profile: Bachelor's degree in a Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field is required. A Master’s degree is highly preferred. At least 10 years of site operations related experience, within a chemical manufacturing facility is required for this position. Must have at least 5 years of operations or plant leadership experience. Strong leadership, people management and development skills in an industrial environment. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines as well as manage change and work independently. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma methodology and ISO standards is required. Networking, influence, and conflict resolution skills with strong focus on deliverables with excellent oral and written skills along with the ability to apply these throughout the site. Demonstrated ability to utilize computer software (systems used are Microsoft Office, SAP, intra/internet, etc.). Ability to Travel <10% (training, network meetings, operational meetings).
